It's Wednesday, you slaggards

We’ve got a ton of those around here, so people must like them. I’m not a fan.
They subsist on highschoolers looking for a throwback and their 1/2 price drinks. Not gonna lie, I have enjoyed my fair share of their vanilla cokes.

Not everyone is lucky enough to have a Whataburger nearby :beer2:
I have to admit that I like Whataburger’s burgers. I can live without the wait to get them, but if I’m getting a fast food burger, it’s either them or Hat Creek for me.

My daughters like them, so you’re right it being a young person’s thing. Their onion rings are sweet. I couldn’t get past that.

Try going there between like 2 and 4pm. Grab a Route 44 diabetes-in-a-cup Vanilla Coke for like $1. It's coke with the syrup, not just Vanilla Coke from Atlanta.

51 and breezy here...which is an improvement over yesterday. Rain all day tomorrow, which stinks...but the high is 73°...

spring is close

Been a weird early spring. All over the place. Low of 20 on Sunday to turn around 3 days later and nearly hit 80

I used to go to this country bar on Thursdays that had 50 cent natty lights

Them were the days
Hurricane Harry's in College Station did Thursday nights "quarter you call it". $.25 for whatever cocktail or beer you want in the cup, no limit as long as you weren't hammer drunk. They weren't big solo cups, probably 6oz cups. so dangerous but it was walking distance to my first apartment.

I just checked Google maps and there are seven Sonics within a five mile radius of my house. That’s approaching Subway levels of concentration.

There was a place at UCSB called McBurley’s (it no longer exists) that did quarter beer Thursdays, but they were small as well. That place was always slammed. We’d go there, get drunk and then walk down the street to the OG Freebirds for a burrito.

I don't watch women's golf but Lexi Thompson..... got damn

50 cent corn dogs were amazing in college
Used to tear up some Sonic in college. Would go back every once in a while for a burger and also myself "Why"?

Think the last time we went was the night before my wife had to take a gestational diabetes test, and she wanted one of those milkshakes in case she had to cut back on sugar drastically.

Food is a step up above slop, and the parking lot always smells like doughnuts.

@Me I see you have a gob profile on Eurohoop
