Agreed with this. Thanks Nos!!!

That was a lot of work to run the whole thing (what was it….almost three weeks, or two?).

I say a NFL or NBA year draft. Basically you have to choose a player from each draft. Any time frame is good with me.

1990's

88 - 79 final scores baby!!
My kind of game lol. There's no question players are more skilled today, but if he played today, when you can't put a hand on the guy you're guarding, an elbow in his back, and if you hit him going to the rack you get a flagrant 1, MJ would score 40 a game easy

MJ would score 40 half many games…easy.

Yeah, but there's a give and take with the rules. Back in MJ's day there was illegal defense and no zone defenses allowed. This forced teams to either hard double him which gave the rest of their team a 4 on 3 advantage or they had to guard MJ one on one more often. With today's rules they would allow for soft doubles, hedges from either top side or weak side and also allow for a sagging defense to dare him to shoot from the perimeter. Teams can more easily rotate off doubles because of the removal of illegal defense which means teams would double MJ at a much higher rate than they did in his era by a wide margin.

He's still be really dominant, and in my opinion still the GOAT in this era. But just thinking you're going to plug him into today's era and he's going to get 40 a game is really just romanticizing his game.

None of that matters because this is a mock draft and we will have super teams. I think the point Troy was trying to make is we can't punish teams that don't just draft 12 three point shooters and now Shaq sucks.
