Harbaugh continues to do the stupid

(1) Police brutality doesn't fall in the top 1,000 as a problem in the United States. For every act of police brutality there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of actions of Police Compassion, Police Saving Life and Police being assaulted.

(2) A great majority of veterans see someone kneeling during the National Anthem as unpatriotic and an emotional attack on them.

Kaepernick is an embarrassment to all biracial people.
1 it doesn't affect you, or people you know, so it's not a problem for you.
2 it wouldn't matter how he tried to draw attention to the issue, you would feel the same

That flag and that anthem is what the military stands for. It is why their caskets are draped with the flag when a soldier dies. It represents our country and what they are fighting for.

If he wants to take a stand against police brutality -- he had a fucking national platform after every game with media interviews Disrespecting the flag is why he is no longer in the NFL. That and the fact he was a mediocre QB who wanted to make starting QB money and no one was dumb enough to pay him.
Nothing he did was disrespectful.

1) so what? Nothing in there matters to his point. He thinks it’s a problem and he took a peaceful and harmless stand for that cause. Doesn’t matter much if you think it is.

2) just because you feel offended doesn’t make you right.

He’s rebelling since the NFL rejected him. Back to doing dumb shit for attention.

Also showing Goofdell that if given a HC job, he would hire Kaep to be his starter.

Cowboys?

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention. That's not the way of the world. If you are offended, that makes it right

A nationally televised football game isn’t the place to be a total shithead “because social justice”. 99% of people just want to forget about their problems for a few hours and watch a football game.

Same exact thing when you’re at work. You’re supposed to be working. That’s what they’re paying you for. It’s not the place to be a total shithead “because social justice”.

Spread your “social justice/fuck cops” cancer on social media all you want. His stupid movement would’ve gained plenty of traction without spitting in the faces of 99% of football fans.

But I guess that wasn’t good enough for someone as toxic as Kaep.

You all are not the demographic Harbaugh is trying to impress.
Sure isn’t.

Not the demo the University of Michigan is trying to impress either. Regardless of football.

I see Spike Lee went today though.

Let me get this straight ... Colin Kaepernick feelings matter, but the women and men who put themselves in harms way to keep you safe, their feelings don't?

Just be honest and admit it doesn't matter how he did it.
My honest take is exactly what I said -- Professional Athletes have the biggest platform in the world when they have to do media interviews after games. If he wanted to take a stand -- open your mouth and tell the world everything you disagree with.

The National Anthem isn't the time.

Nothing he did was disrespectful.
“To disrespect the country that has afforded him the opportunities and fortunes he acquired is only made more offensive by the fact that his life is the personification of the ideals I see in the American flag and National Anthem: a biracial child, raised by white parents, and who has accomplished much despite his “oppression.” In how many more nations around the world can a story like that come to fruition?

He made valid points, I’m not ignoring that there are still issues with race in America. However, he is ignoring the positive ideals of America that every colored person who has ever served, fought–while some died–for, by refusing to stand. Proper action is exactly that, action, not the inaction of not standing because he couldn’t think of a better way to protest.”

Direct quote from an African American Army Ranger.

Kaepernick didn't even come up with the 'taking a knee' for the national anthem -- An Army Green Beret (can't remember his name, i think it was Boyer or Moyer) talked him into kneeling, because for multiple weeks, he would go sit on the bench by himself, while the team stood together for the national anthem.

One has a legitimate gripe. The others do not and are likely attacking him for other reasons hiding behind the shroud of “tHiNk oF tHe ANthEm!”

Again. He didn’t disrespect the country in the slightest.

Who has a legitimate gripe, and what it it? The women and men who risk there lives should be honored.

Saying that someone shouldn’t take a stand disrespects the flag so much more than anything Kap did. It’s what the flag actually stands for.
