Shooter probably thought getting the gun out would get the dead guy to leave. Dead guy probably thought shooter wouldn’t actually shoot him.I feel like firing a warning shot while standing 5 ft from a guy isn't much of a warning shot since the guy was able to get right into the little man's face. Was he expecting Read to throw his hands up and be like "whoa whoa whoa...let's not get crazy" instead?
would you have left without seeing your kid?Pretty much.
unless the shooter and the ex wife knew what was going to happen all along and all that was just baitShooter probably thought getting the gun out would get the dead guy to leave. Dead guy probably thought shooter wouldn’t actually shoot him.
Both calling bluffs when neither one was bluffing.
justified or not it was legal, retarded but legal. once the gun came into play shit hit the fan and then the struggle for the gun made it self defense i dont think it would have gotten to even throwing punches if short-man-syndrome doesnt go in the house for a gunso do you sympathize for the father in that the ex wife had fucked with the custody argument multiple times?
do you think the shitbird with the gun was justified in bringing out a loaded firearm?

Kid wasn't there. I'd either have waited or went where the kid was.would you have left without seeing your kid?
just wondering if calmer heads would have prevailed.
he didn't know where the kid was...which is what kicked the whole thing off.Kid wasn't there. I'd either have waited or went where the kid was.
I'm thinking I remember her saying the kid was at the grandparents from the huge earlier thread on this.he didn't know where the kid was...which is what kicked the whole thing off.
Here’s a full video
Guy is arguing with his ex about their kid, threatening to take everyone there to court(sounds like keeping the kid away has been an on going issue)
Shooter walks out with gun, dead guy says “you better fucking use it motherfucker”
They bump chests, shooter fires shot into ground, dead guy pushes shooter away from house.
Shooter turns back towards house and shoots the guy dead.
Neither handled the situation well, but the guy wasn’t posing a lethal threat or even making threats other than taking the ex and others at the house to court.
I guess shooter was legally within his right, but was completely unnecessary. And like I said, taunting a much smaller man with a gun isn’t the smartest thing in the world.
The kid is who I feel most sorry for.
All around shitty situation
