Who from your high school reached the top?

Ray Fosse is the only "famous" person from my home town I can think of.
Is Ray still around? I always felt bad for that guy after what Pete Rose did to him

Reminds me of a story back in the day about super-competitive people.

At a company picnic for a place I worked, the CEO/owner of the compny broke his leg sliding into home during a softball game. The catcher became to ex-director of sales,
 
Played Little League against and went to HS with Johnny Damon. Always was a good kid and, obviously a hell of a ball player. Facing him on the mound at 13-14 took some balls.

He actually had a left to right slider at that age…not much fun to hang in the box with that pitch when you batted lefty. Can’t count how many times I chicken stepped back on a called strike.
