If UNC comes into play (which couldn't happen until 2036 and so much would need to take place to make that a reality that I really don't see it happening unless ND jumps ship) they are a whale that everyone will want (Virginia not so much) and I would be shocked beyond belief if that choice was not the SEC.

For the record to get UNC everyone is going to offer Duke as well but I just don't see it happening. The ACC has risen from the dead so many times I just don't see them going anywhere and P5s don't need another conference failure.

I have lived here most of my life and nobody would give a shit if they chose the Big Ten over the SEC

If anything, they would be more upset they chose an academic mouth breather conference over the Big Ten

It's arrogance. I live it every day. That's not to say the AAU money doesn't means a lot, it does. But the academic arrogance at UNC is really a crazy thing ... this from someone who went to Vanderbilt and doesn't see nearly that level of arrogance.

I also want to point out that I really like UNC. My youngest just transferred there from the west coast. It is a great school, I just don't need to be reminded about it all the time.
