Today is Administrative Professionals Day. This day shall determine how many flights I “forget” that he doesn’t like the middle seat.

He loves the middle seat

At least our daughter wanted to stay in state, but some of the schools she applied to wanted 70-80 grand a year. A couple were offering schollies that amounted to half, but still that left 30-40k out of pocket.

Proud of her for making a smart choice. She won't have much debt when she graduates
Hope she's picked a "bankable" major...

Did you get any gifts yet?

There's always some diva in the office that gets more than one bouquet. Watching the women glare at each other is uniquely entertaining.

I don't understand women, but women understand women and they hate each other.

I hope he doesn’t get me flowers or any silly trinkets/tchotchkes.

I prefer cash.

Remains to be seen. She'll go in as undeclared but with a heavy arts focus. Another reason the CUNY school is a great option is that she'll get a lot of liberal arts instruction; the private schools would have been 90% arts classes with no math, science, or lit requirements. She's been studying architecture in HS so hopefully she sticks with some kind of Design major

I'd give you a $15 Starbucks card that someone gave me earlier that I didn't use.

Edit: And a Hallmark card.
