The Adam Project on Netflix

Felt like a kids movie but it wasn't. Felt like a superhero movie but it wasn't. Great bad person. The actor that plays Young Adam is superstar material. All in all, enjoyed the hell out of it.

7/10

I am taking a few months off from Netflix atm, but this one looked good from the trailers. I will need to remember to watch this one when I reup.

Talk to Me.

mid 2000s film with a GREAT cast. It’s the true story of an ex-con who gets a job as a disc jockey during the 60s at an R&B radio station in DC when he gets out of jail. Don Cheadle stars in it but, like I said, the cast is great. Definitely recommend it.

i give it 8 out 10

The Secret Number (2012)

Bleem is a number. It sits between 3 and 4. If you can prove it exists, you can travel at will through space and time.

Nice little sci-fi film. 7 out of 10, but only because the story was a little predictable.

Finished the Kristen Bell series on Netflix, The Girl Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, or whatever the fuck it's called? I'm a sucker for a who done it flick, and there were a couple episodes in the middle that were alright, but save your time. I was thoroughly annoyed at the ending.

Maybe one of the dumbest endings I've ever seen. 2/10

Had it on my list since it came out. Stupid titles are usually a red flag for me. Good to hear a review.

Suicide Kings (1997).

Acting was decent I guess but thats about it. Plot was confusing and dumb, ending was dumb. Dumb movie.

3/10

Sonic 2.

Good movie for kids. Some nice references and humor.

Metal Lords on netflix

4/10
Never looked at my watch or checked to see how much time was remaining, but it was as formulaic as you can imagine.

Free Guy

It was entertaining enough. A few decent laughs.

I liked it, only issue was I felt bad the first few minutes I played GTA after that. Got over it quick.

The Harder they Fall (2021)

All black cast (definitely some names/faces you will recognize) that is set as a Western “revenge killing” type movie. Decent plot, well known cast but something was lacking. Can’t put my finger on it. I give it a disappointing 5.5 out of 10.

Lila & Eve (2015)

Yeah, it was kind of dumb at times, but it definitely keeps you interested. Great acting imo.

7.50/10

The King

Was not Shakespeare or actual history. Enjoyed the movie though. May have been much better if it had been broken up into, idk, four movies. But that’d be like 10 hours of not Shakespeare or actual history, and people might get tired of that.

Robert Pattinson does solid work as a guy you look forward to watching die. And the dude who was in the Star Wars sith movies does well chunkin up to play Falstaff. It’s not Dune, but Chalamet is easier to root for in this one. Great lead character, nobody involved came up with anything profound. Didn’t drop the ball either.

7.5, metric.

The 13th Warrior

Love it. Banderas, Shariff and a bunch of viking guys you've seen before. A John McTiernan effort.

Filmed up by where @blindbaby resides.

Next up is Reign of Fire. One of my Top 10 guilty pleasures.
