Per several of the pay sites (Rivals, 247 and On3) it is now a 2 team race for Arch - UGA and UT. Evidently he is taking two OVs per 247 - UGA and UT. Also, On3 had 3 new predictions of Manning to UT this past weekend. They have some bullshit predictor that went from 44% UT, 40% UGA, to now being 60% UT to 27% UGA.

He’ll go where he goes and there’s a zero percent chance he’ll live up to the hype wherever he lands. When you’re being called the best ever before you’ve even been on a college practice field, you’re never gonna live up to expectations

When the 5 star that just signed with UT gets his 8mm revoked the recruiting might re-open.

The game has changed since the Mannings played college football. I saw one high school game the kid played in and it was against decent competition (which let’s face it he has rarely seen) and I wasn’t overly impressed. He will be good but I doubt he will be as good as his uncles.

I think Arch Manning will be very good. But he is being waaaaaay overhyped because of his last name. If His name was Arch Smith instead of Manning I don’t think he is close to be the #1 prospect.

People seem sold on him. But I can't deny the nagging thought in the back of my mind ... is he really that good?

This does have all the makings of a huge flame out. That said, due to his last name, genes, and the fact you don't seem to like him means I am all in on him!

Hell even if he does come and he is as good as everyone says, you know Kirby is just gonna let some underrecruited walk on play because of the feel good story.

Eh, after a few lackluster years at Jexas he can go write for some cutrate lawyer a PFT. :dhd:

We call that the Ron Powlus effect. People were declaring he’d win multiple Heismans before he played a single down, got hurt his freshman year and in truth was never a good fit in Holtz’s offense. He had a very pedestrian career.

It happens all the time. Brice Ramsey was supposed to be the next great UGA QB, he ended his career as our punter
