Arch Manning news ...

Yeah, but Juarez was better back in the day. Cheaper too.

But, it seems that Juarez "fun" took years off the back end of your life and you didn't know it at the time.
i haven't been to Juarez since 96 or 97.. However I have been to Nuevo Laredo and Matamores more recently than that. Never had any trouble and enjoyed my cheap tecate and street tacos :)

Meh, those are down river. Those South Texas Mexicans just don't have the salsa vibe the up river/desert ones do!

lol good point.. I was using Valentina on my al pastor tacos lol

Carroll? 😂 😂 😂
What qb has ever looked great at uga under the multiple OCs Kirby has used?
I thought From looked really good and have been surprised he fell in the draft and has pretty much been forgotten in the pros.

Fromm had a really good freshman year, the problem with Fromm was he was still the same QB as a Junior, and good for a true freshman isn’t good for a junior. Kirby hiring James Coley at OC didn’t help him any in 2019, but he never really showed any improvement. As a true freshman, he was a guy who wasn’t gonna cost you any games and took care of the ball. That’s what you want from a freshman, and he had Mecole Hardman, Javon Wims, Terry Godwin and Riley Ridley at receiver to make him look better. Those guys got drafted and he looked pedestrian.

I thought he was stupid for leaving early since his draft stock went to shit in 2019. I think he would have helped his stock if he stayed another year and got to play in Monken’s system, but I don’t think he was ever gonna be an NFL QB.

He played a couple games for the Giants last year and he might be the worst NFL QB I’ve ever seen play. I mean, the Giants had so little faith in him that they called a QB sneak on 3rd and 9 inside their own 20

Fromm should have won a national championship. It wasn't him that lost it that was on Kirby's play calling and the defense.

Per several of the pay sites (Rivals, 247 and On3) it is now a 2 team race for Arch - UGA and UT. Evidently he is taking two OVs per 247 - UGA and UT. Also, On3 had 3 new predictions of Manning to UT this past weekend. They have some bullshit predictor that went from 44% UT, 40% UGA, to now being 60% UT to 27% UGA.
There's more than 1 UT. Which one?

Fromm didn’t lose the game, that’s for sure. Tyler Simmons was on sides when he blocked that punt

Yeah, Fromm never improved over time. He had a solid OL and solid RBs to hand off too and the guy still couldn't take that next step, which made it more infuriating for some UGA fans when they turned Fields away.

That 2019 defense was at least on par with the 2021 defense. Maybe not as prolific of a pass rush, but a better secondary and a lot of NFL talent on that defense. The offense was just shitty all around that year. A lot of that was on Coley at OC, but a lot of it was on Fromm too.

I'm just looking forward to Arch continue to extend the 5-2 Manning vs Brady playoff record once he gets to the NFL

UTn, UTx.

Tomato, tomahto.

@Thiefery You laughed at me when I said Athens > Austin for Arch. In today's USA Today:

"Athens is probably the best college town I’ve ever been to," Manning said. "I love coach Kirby (Smart) and he’s a real normal guy, a great coach. Georgia, the takeaway from practice there, is that they have athletes all over the field, especially on the defensive line. They have some studs and it shows: they had 15 players drafted."
