Morning, lads.

First time since the LDS started that all 4 series went 1-1. Should be an interesting week. Also, according to the story I read, the teams coming home for games 3&4 won like 2/3 of the series when they split.

Soccer practice for Ham tonight. Nothing else major on the agenda.

The bats need to come alive early. But it’s been late game heroics that have gotten this team to where they continue to go.

Will depend on when Skubal can make his next start, too.

Calendar is set where he should be able to go on full rest for game 5. I think for Detroit either winning game 3 or getting up big early in game 4 would be important for saving Skubal, since Game 4 would be his "throw in the bullpen" day and they'd be tempted to use him to keep their season alive.
 
I think I have gotten just about everything I wanted off our wedding registry.

I think we can call the whole thing off now.

Makes sense. When teams split the first two, the away team effectively stole home field advantage.

Tribe game was pretty wild, but the outcome sucked. I was feeling pretty good once they got Skubal out of the game.

Clase was crazy too. He only allowed 5 ER over 74.1 innings the entire season. He gave up more ER last night than he had in the preceding 41 games he pitched in. Seems like something weird went on. Where's the Mystery Machine when we need it?

I'd be shocked if they pitched him on two days rest. They'll pitch him Game 5, if it comes to that, so it behooves the Indians to make hay in Detroit.

This 1100 meeting looks like it's going to run right into the 1300 meeting. Looking like 5 Guys isn't happening for lunch.
