1-1 Winsday

I'm not really either. It's my first time inside one in like 7 or 8 years. Like I said, she's just very, very anti.
Mrs Chicken is very against them too. Its prolly been over 20 years since I have been to one however

i've crunched some numbers, if I cash out some retirement accounts I can get a Tesla Plaid and do 0-60 in 2 seconds

well worth it
I drove a friend's Tesla a few weeks ago. Not sure what model it is - likely the entry model, but holy fuck was that thing fast.

I've driven 911s, a Bentley Continental, a Countach and some other fast shit, and this frickin' Tesla felt so much faster. Fucking crazy.

The regenerative breaking (or whatever they call it) is wild, and would take some time to get used to. If I owned one, I'd probably turn that feature off.

This was a piece I didn’t know yesterday. I get the friction (pardon the slightly horrible pun).

Any woman I’ve known wants to talk at some point. Maybe just make it clear you’re open to a solid conversation on settling this when she’s ready. She will come around.

As said….you were in Rome and when one is they do what the Romans do. But you don’t go to Rome but for this time…to stick with the analogy.

Like @ThePeoplesChicken said….an awkward conversation >>>>> no communication.

Just when you have the conversation put it on @ill as much as possible…..
Well said.

And if @ill had any soul he would volunteer to contact SA and confess to drugging you and taking you to the strip club against your will

Never been. Closest was when a friend got really drunk while going through his divorce and wanted to go to one.

Another day of solo parenting while also trying to stay ahead on large looming deadlines at work. The Mrs is still in the hospital getting poked and prodded. Hoping the doc comes in this morning and says “go home”.

So thankful my 19 and 21 year old girls have really stepped up to help with the younger ones. I’m ready to stop the daily wake at 5:30 to scramble two teen boys to school.

That's a little difficult to answer. Spurts of good, spurts of bad. Some filling of awkwardness. I doubt I can answer that too well for a little while.
Well, I'll tell you this; I've been with Mrs Redfoot for twenty-four years and it's not all sunshine and giggles. You've got to learn to get through things together, or just fuck it.

Scribbles in my journal....

"Redfoot would turn off brakes if had a Tesla"

Went on a bachelors party trip. Got pretty drunk the first (and others, but first was the most) night, and we all went to a strip club. She is very anti strip club. While we did text throughout the weekend, I wasn't as communicative as I should have been.
Ugh.

I travel a reasonable amount for work, and I learned pretty early on, if I'm going out at night on the road, call her before dinner and say goodnight. Talk to her in the morning, no matter how good of an idea I think it is to call her.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as faithful as it gets, but there's just no need to worry/upset them.

Then again, having that option is born from a significant amount of trust between us, so it might not work for everyone.

Understood. If I can offer any advice it would be this (learned the hard way):
An awkward conversation is always ALWAYS worth it than not communicating
not sure GIF by Night At The Museum

My buddy's kid plays high school golf and I caught up about how he was doing when I talked to my friend at our wives' high school reunion. We all graduated from the same high school and this kid was playing for the same school.

I've been going through early high school golf event results but hadn't seen his name. I was curious and checked the golf team roster listed on the school's website. His name wasn't there. WTF?

So today, I see his name listed for another event....but he's playing for another high school. Some shit went down, evidently. Haven't talked to my friend yet, not sure whether to play dumb or not.

Man. Hearing everyone's stories about married life truly makes me thankful that I am not married

yeah, electric cars have instant torque which outperform regular engine.

i'm not a huge strip club guy

but I don't really see the harm in it especially for a bachelor party

now if you were a regular and had your own table in the back....
This.

I dislike strip clubs. Only been to three in my life.

If a broad has an issue with you going to one for a bachelor party, that betrays some fairly serious trust issues. What does she expect you to do? "sorry guys, I'm gonna wait in the car."

Of course not. You get up there and shake what the good Lord gave ya. No woman is going to be upset when you hand over them dollaz
