GAME #1 Bama @ Vandy | SECN | now

I’ve been down in the hurricane zone cleaning up my deer camp. Just got home and about to watch DSOR(I know the score, you can’t spoil it)

Just checked all the scores, and I can’t remember a more unexpected result

Seriously tho, that shit makes no sense to me. The game was over you go out there and drag that sorry ass 'captain' off the field. No excuse for behavior like that. Take a penalty for delay or whatever, he just got an unsportsmanlike anyway.

I can't believe they let him stay out there.

Deboers post-game comments on it were pathetic as well

Lack of discipline and accountability is going to mean lots more performances like Saturday

But for realz. I gotta give it to Ryan Williams. He took that shot at the sideline late at the game that dislodged that pass. He could have played it up for a penalty. Instead, not only did he not do that, he refused help, and he popped up alertly and got ready for the next play. Respect.

Alabama doesn’t punish players that punch women on live tv, and they even had a player take a swing at a coach during the 2017 NCG. That player wasn’t even benched

For a 17 year old, he's a tough sumabisch!

Our coach has got to stop acting soft. Watching his post game press conference was infuriating. It's why tbh I was concerned about bringing in a guy from outside our football culture in the south. If he can't be a hard ass he's about to get ran over by our fans, players & alumni.

By his coaching record it's clear he's a competitive guy and I'd assume that means he's got some backbone and fire inside somewhere. He needs to let that out. If he can't do that after losing to Vandy, one of our captains having a bitch boy meltdown and the stories about the bullshit our players were talking AT THE COIN TOSS then I don't see him doing it ever. You look at our history as a program and the one thing you can't be at Alabama and succeed is soft. It's a brutally tough beast to tame and you've got to have the fortitude to do it. IMO, that was one of the most important things that changed from Shula to Saban, Saban didn't take any shit. Everybody involved in our program knew it, be they boosters, fans or players. He's got to go find his inner hard ass and let that boy run wild. If not we're gonna eat him.

Our scheme is fucking terrible on defense. We are blocking ourselves half of the plays by how we align. The scheme is really really really bad.
