GAME #1 OREGON DUCKS vs michigan at the Big House 3:30pm Eastern CBS

Poor Oregon might go undefeated the first season going undefeated doesn't matter a whole lot. 🙁

How does it mean any less this year than last?

Because of the total number of losses a team can have and still make the playoffs. 2 losses or 0 losses and you can potentially get in.

You could get in without winning your conference in the past.

Now byes and home field are on the line.

No one wants to take a road trip to Columbus or Happy Valley in Dec

Can't say I was expecting it go much differently result wise, but to have a chance to crawl back in the game and whiff hurt. The penalty on the punt was killer, and the Orji play call was baffling. I had a bad feeling about that as soon as I saw him come out for Warren. I would have went with Warren and tried to give Loveland a shot to make a play. Hell, the trick play may have had a better shot with him in versus Orji, I feel like a trick play would be more expected with the latter. Love the effort from the players, but the coaching was terrible. I'll give Wink some credit for the 2nd half adjustments, but that first half did too much damage. I thought Warren played a pretty solid game and made some really tough throws. Gonna really miss Loveland after he leaves for the NFL, I'd really like to see Hogan Hansen get more targets and prepare him for 2025

That was my first game at the Big House and it was a blast. The Oregon fans I met were really cool.
