I'm still trying to figure out when I'm going to get back into NYC to get my shit off my work desk. My boss and another coworker of mine are in the same boat, we haven't been back to the city since last March when they locked down. We all have desks to clean out.

They talked about trying to go into the office on a Friday. I'm going to see if I can get an idea on ridership numbers on the trains once summer ends, because the Friday trains on my line used to be a shitshow full of New Yorkers trying to get to their weekend homes in Belmar and Asbury Park. No thank you.

I didn't mind working there, for the most part. Different experience, for sure, but some things weren't awful. Didn't mind the train ride, for the most part. Just didn't like the Friday trains that were jam-packed with Bennies and high school kids vaping and drinking on their way to concerts.

I mean, it wouldn't be the first time I bought booze for underage kids, but most of my illicit purchases were when I was in college and it was either for my friends or to get other idiot college kids drunk.

Didn't really feel like trying to figure out if I could sell loosies out of a case of Bud Light on the 5:35 out of NY Penn.
