Iowa will have played them twice (does not play them this year) (won one)

Might be Iowas year to win the conference.

Thats Iowa the last how many years under Ferentz.

I wouldn't say it "sucks" but its definitely not lighting the world on fire.

The only time I can think of Ferentz having an explosive offense was when he had Brad Banks at QB in 2002

I dont mind Petras honestly. He doesn't turn the ball over and he makes enough good plays to win most games


Yeah he's not elite or maybe even good but with the Iowa D and special teams the offense really just needs not to lose the game

Agreed. Offense has been pretty hard to watch for the most part, D is legit

FWIW, I don't think the Iowa offense is as bad as many think. Iowa State has played really salty defense in their first two games. That being said, Iowa's defense was BETTER and their special teams were FANTASTIC and Championship caliber in my opinion. Just like last year when ISU was thumped by Louisiana, I think ISU has a really good team that had a bad day and will have another good season. They just lost to a better team today. This will end up being a quality win for Iowa when the CFB Playoff Committee starts meeting.
