GAME #11 Michigan State @ Washington 7:30pm ET ABC

Let them make the score respectable. Smart.

Went from an absolute thrashing to a two score game with 5 minutes left...

Get it together...
This is the norm for MSU. They hang around.

Why in god's green earth does Washington have a guy with a club/cast on their hands team?

Wow.

This game was over when I was watching it a half hour ago.

No idea why they are passing the ball there. Run the ball and let the clock run. They can't stop the clock anymore.

That was a pretty decent party, er game. Off to the after party!

Most of the sparty fans were pretty cool. Quite a lot of them there. Most left early though lol

Complete Ass Kicking.

Race for PAC Championship might be really good this year.
It'll be another year where everyone beats everyone else and the league looks mediocre as a result

Maybe...

But Wazzu has won a big game in Wisconsin, and now Washington beat down MSU.

We may not be as mediocre as we have been in years past.

I never said we were. Reread my post.

Eh, we have the defense to be competitive but don’t have the offense.

Quite the departure from years past. Apparently we're an offensive team now.
Yea sir. I can count on 1 finger the one season in my life that the offense was this far behind the defense. We will definitely shut down offenses but if Oregon or Washington can get to 24 we will lose. Ward definitely will play on Sundays or at least a roster but thus far it would’ve been better had the alums spent their money on keeping DeLaura or gone for one of the SC transfers or someone like them.

The offense looked every bit as solid as it was against the FCS/cupcakes the prior two weeks. Penix with nearly 400y on a 9.9y ave and 4TD/0 Ints. He looks just as advertised and the line did give him lots of time. He hit a few deep balls in perfect step and took what the defense gave him on check downs.

Run game isn't what it would need to be to make a serious run at the conference title. Neither in playcalls, nor execution. They have other backs and appeared to have decided to only run two on the day. You can't have 2 drives stall at the 1 with repeated runs up the gut that get killed. You just can't. Bounce a run outside at least. Fix that or find a few L's you shouldn't have on the schedule.

Defense was better than I had hoped on the backend. At least from what I saw. I was on the way to another party half-way through the 4th when they gave up 2 TD's so I don't know what that was caused by. 2 sacks and 5 TFL isn't a bad day, but I still think the D line isn't stout enough to be the force it needs to be for a deep conference run.

It's still early and so far we can say the coaching is miles ahead of last year and Penix looks to be one of the best QB's on Montlake in many years.

Stanford up next before they play their first road game. Stanford coming off a weird week 3 bye (this conf is so fucking stupid) after a crushing loss to USC. You know Shaw will have a gameplan in place to welcome DeBoer to the Pac. UW should be favored, but don't take it for granted.

I love all the bitching about rankings this early. If either team is indeed deserving a different rank they will find their way there in future weeks. Relax people. We all know the rankings at this time of year have little meaning.
