GAME #11 TX @ #3 Bama • 7ET • ESPN

New to Bama football? That's been the case at least the last three years.
Those guys are road graders. Should be running way more than they are.

god damn, Herbstreit just said that Milroe is a dogshit RB trying to play QB in the nicest way possible

Yeah, Bama's o-line has been suspect for years, bailed out by superstar QBs and receivers.

Ain't got those anymore, so ... well ... this is what we see.

So, put in another QB for the second half in place of Milro?

There was a contingency within our fan base that was insisting on Buchner or Simpson all along. Milroe doesn't allow plays to develop while also contending with iffy blocking.

I'd call him an average QB who can scramble and run, but maybe those backing them up are slightly above average.
Maybe we'll see before the night's out.
He is not an average QB. He is a running back who happens to be able to throw the ball. He doesn't even wait for his players to run routes, he is ready to get out of the pocket and use his legs.

Texas doesn't have to worry about Milroe beating them with his arm AT ALL, so they can rush him without any repercussion.

Herbstreit is spot on. Milroe isn't a QB. He is a running back they put under center. He isn't reading defenses, waiting for routes to develop, going thru progressions. He is ready to get out of the pocket as soon as he gets the ball.

I feel bad for Bama if this is their top QB -- they are going to waste a TON OF TALENT around the field, because they aren't winning anything with Milroe under center.

Yeah, he's clearly a runner first, and lots of his throws have been cringe-inducing.

North Alabama's QB is better than what I've seen from Milroe tonight.

Maybe I'm seeing a bad game from Milroe. He has serious happy feet in the pocket. He is ready to run around before WR's even have a chance to run a route and alot of times, before pressure is even near him.

Pretty good game. Is the Texas QB the kid who went to Ohio State for 1 year on a million dollar NIL deal then left?

I think that will end up being his downfall and they make a change at QB

Yep same guy. He was knocked out of last year’s Bama game

Cincy is running away from Pitt so fortunately you guys can have my full attention

No telling what Saban will do, but in his shoes I'd bench Milroe for the second half.

Of course, the o-line remains suspect, so whoever's in there will still have little time to let anything develop.

He did it right that time.

Still not a great throw by Milroe

Threw beyond the line of scrimmage. Yeesh.
