They most likely are. On a down to down basis they are probably a top 25/30 team. But they fuck up a lot and have a lot of turnovers. They out gained Duke, FSU and NC State (by a wide margin) in those losses. Plus with it being a road game, I thought this was a bad spot for ND.

Clemson is as mediocre as their 4-4 record indicates, not like they've lost to a bunch of great teams either. Constant bad turnovers are a sign of a not good team

They've lost to a great team (FSU) and two similarly rated teams on the road IMO. The NC State game was bad, but they out gained them by 150. Turnovers can be fixed one would think, so if they do that, a game like today can certainly happen.
