Agree but those teams are our rivals. Also the West would have Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU so it wouldn't be easy street either.

I would think that group being together (again in some cases) that it would help Arkansas as well when it comes to recruiting and interest and make them a tougher out.

Arkansas has had spurts of success. They are really not a bad program. They have had a rough past 5 years but they were 11-2 regularly when Bobby Petrino was there and Houston Nutt had some good teams there as well.

The thing is Tennessee currently plays Alabama every year now. It hurts our program because they beat the crap out of us annually. The good news about getting Alabama in the division is now Florida and Georgia can't duck them. They now share the same problem as Tennessee.

I do think it was tough for us having all 3 in a 4 week span. Tennessee recently complained about it and I have noticed we got Florida this year and Georgia last year in November which is a nice change of pace.

That also makes the regular season and the CCG even sexier. Traditional and new rivalries and then OU/TX/LSU vs Bama/UF/UGA most years, great for ratings.
