GAME #15 Washington (4-0) @ UCLA (4-0) 10:30 pm (ET) ESPN

Consistent threat in what sense...? Champions of Oregon?

Oregon have only had 3 or so teams in the past 30 years that had a legitimate shot at a National Championship. That's not what I would consider a 'consistent threat'.
It’s what no one but OD considers a consistent threat.

Lol, Dixon was completely healthy when Oregon lost to a Cal team that would finish 7-6 AT HOME

They would not had beaten LSU or Ohio State that year.
oh dont give me this bullshit. Oregon lost to CAL that year on a stupid fumble in the endzone, and other than THAT game Oregon was dominating everyone and Dixon was on his way to a heisman. That year we had what? 2, 2 loss teams in the NCG? Oregon goes into that title game with only 1 loss and no one was stopping Oregon and Dixon.

Can we get this oregon bullshit out of the UW game thread though?

Take this garbage to the “#1E OREGON DUCKS” thread.

See, if you were smart, you'd pick out Minnesota and not Princeton.

But alas, those fans aren't on here saying how much of a consistant threat their team has been since the mid-90's.
Princeton has the most championships at 28.

Because they weren’t a real contender.

Oregon Followed up going 11-1 and finishing #2 in 2001 with a 7-6 season in 2002 a 8-5 season in 2003 and a 5-6 season in 2004. Consistency and sustainability guys!
It's almost like Ohio State sucking until Jim Tressel and his free tattoos showed up.

Ohio States follows up a 11-1 1998 season with a 6-6, 8-4, 7-5.

Off the top of my head there is 2001, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2019.
You listed 4 should have's. But even at least one of those has a hole in it, as in 2001 you guys did only lose 1 game, but you barely beat everyone else outside of Zona and Cal, and no way would you lot have beaten those Miami teams.

Sure, you guys have done some things since 2000, but if I were to rank all the teams in the past 26 years based on performance, Oregon might be top 15, but not top 10.

When your childhood is watching your pretend football team constantly getting their dick kicked in, that’s pretty consistent… in his defense.

Oregon was 40th in scoring defense and 60th in yards allowed defense. in 2007

"Dominant"

That's a bold statement, and an easy one to make since no one can argue with your fantasy land dreams.

You do you, OD. Never change man.

Stick to the hardwood my guy. Since 2000 Oregon is most certainly a top 10 program.

I can't believe I am arguing how consistent Oregon has been since 2000. One of the most consisten and winningest programs since then. And if not for injuries they would have bolstered 2 heisman winners within that time period. SHOULD HAVE BEEN 3 WITH HARRINGTON.

.

Article is from 2017, but Oregon has only been just as consistent since.
