For sure Tuscaloosa over Starkville. Never been to Lubbock, but.........I'll take Lubbock over them both because I'll be in Texas and not in Mississippi or Alabama.

It’s the only place I’ve ever been where you can travel 200+ miles getting there without passing a single gas station. It’s out in the middle of nowhere.

My daughter had a gymnastics competition there this year (why it was held in Lubbock when 99% of the competitors were from Dallas, Austin, Houston or San Antonio is another question). I found a gas station with 9 miles left in my tank and a giant skid mark in my shorts. They need to warn people - last gas station for the next 200+ miles.
