2020-2021 Transfer portal news

Yea I don't get it either.

He must have really fallen out of favor during spring this year.

Or the younger guys were really just that good.
rumor is that they are looking to use his commit to flip Burden (ou)

It kinda looks like free agency.
Don't like something???
Fuck it.
I'm in the Portal Bye

Some good shit out there.

Pretty soon, it will come down to the money they can make with this new image rule.
Which schools have their shit together, and who doesn't.

yeah it does.. but take a look at CBB right now and the portal.. now that's free agency.. Lots of players who did well at smaller schools during the tournament are signing with P5 programs. Texas has a whole new team right now

Yep. Coaches that can put the pieces together in one year are going to thrive. Looking more like junior colleges where they only have guys one or two years anyway.

Dylan Gibbons, who probably would have been the backup center or the 6th man to fill in along the O line transferred from ND to FSU.

Seeing as how shitty FSU’s o line is I’m guessing he’s starting week 1 against his old team.

Bama CB Turnage transfers to UGA.

Arik Gilbert and Derion Kendrick to UGA.

Kendrick has immediate eligibility, and we're a bit thin at DB, so he probably starts.

Gilbert hasn't been granted eligibility yet to my knowledge, but if he does, he will be a big part of the passing game with Pickens out, though I think Darnell Washington will be the better TE of the two.

I thought everyone was immediately available

Gilbert is now a WR?

Good thing we don't kick many FGs. Hopefully no games come down to that. This guy seems like a better option that what we had though. He was at least ok in 2019 for UNC when he was their actual kicker. Compared to what we have on the roster at least.
"Ok"

To add IDK why we have struggled so hard to find reliable kickers. Pretty much since Nugent its been a fucking crapshoot, Haubeil the last 2 years was the "most reliable" we have had in awhile. I know college kickers are notoriously unreliable. But we are lucky we have not had to rely on kickers much lately. At this point I just ask they make most shorter kicks and don't miss any PATs.
