As a reminder in the last 20 years Baylor had a basketball player murder a teammate. Their head coach instructed players to paint the murdered kid as a drug dealer in order to avoid an investigation over recruiting violations.

Their football program, a decade ago decided that a rape culture was fine on campus as long as it brought them recruits. Their HC at the time was talented but human garbage. The administration didn't care though. Boys will be boys until they decided the optics for a Baptist school were bad.

This is a school that shouldn't be where they are. 25 years ago they lucked the fuck out by being politically important when the Big 12 was formed. Otherwise Baylor and Rice are interchangeable in the grand scheme of things. But they lucked out and for years they were put in their place in the Big 12. But then the pseudo religious decided fuck it we will win at all costs. The NCAA has been nutless in punishing them and they clearly don't care about their student body as long as they get wins.

Fuck Baylor. This shows if you have money and don't give a fuck about anything other than winning it will work out.
