Is their game plan to be absolute turnstiles D?

Their only hope of getting stops is

1. Once in every 10 possessions Gonzaga takes a 3
2. Gonzaga biffs a lay up.

They need to continue with a 2-3 zone, quit turning it over and missing shots to get back on defense. No team in the country is going to win a track meet with Gonzaga.
 
SC just needs to settle down try to bring it under a 10 pt difference at the half

Especially if hes stroking like that from deep.

I just turned it on for the last 5 minutes of the half. Don't feel like I missed anything other than an ass whipping.

The prototype is long to be able to play defense. Timme has 15 pts on 7-12 shooting.

Maybe he's just having a bad defensive game, but they were supposed to make it hard for Timme and make the guards beat them...

This may be the most dominant team I've seen since 1990 UNLV... who lost eventually.

Well Timme is a extremely gifted college basketball scorer. But also, at least half those points were fast break. Mobley had a few spots where his half court D bugged Timme.

Timme is like 68% from 2 for the year. THe guy is really, really good. But in the NBA you typically gotta have a more all around game.

I wouldn't take Mobley over Cade. But hes a legit top 3 prospect.
