March Madnes 2021 NCAA Tournament

Gonzaga is going to just crush ucla. I'm sure there is a lot of pent up frustration from 15 years ago.

This is going to be the biggest point spread in FF history.

wow

you can't even congratulate UCLA before trying to tear them down

unbelievable

I do not mean this as any sort of personal shot, but based off your name I am going to assume youre a Washington State fan??

Witness a final 4, just one. And you'll know the thrill.

I've only gotten to enjoy 1 myself and its an amazing feeling. Since then I have seen my team have numerous other quality teams fall just short or way short. Many resulting with definitely "what if" scenarios. And, I can tell you...............not a good feeling.
Yes, and we as Cougs have had this discussion. Would I rather win the Apple Cup then get destroyed in the Rose or get blown out in the Apple Cup and win Tampax bowl....sadly with Mike Leach we lost all Apple Cups and were blown out in most bowl games. A few years back I know Husky fans had the would you rather win in the Rosel Bowl or get boatraced by Bama in the CFP. There answer was the same yours until the boat race happened, and once the game was over they all seemed like they just finished an 0-12 season.

Gonzaga opened at -13.5 and seen up to -14.5 already

That scenario is completely different though. I'd rather take my odds playing in the playoffs than playing in a much more likely Rose Bowl win.

But for that, the Rose Bowl is a historic event and something you actually "win". Theres a trophy and a banner associated with it. And just competing in the 4 team playoff is something you are "selected" for.

In College Basketball you are "selected for the 68 team tournament. Then you go on a run good enough to achieve a trip to the final 4 and a shot at a title. Its all about the run to the final 4, its huge. Also, you hang a banner for final 4s too, its a big deal.

No team celebrates losing by 4 in the Elite 8 one year.

Wazzu fans gotta elevate their standards.
Well our wealthiest alum donated like 100 million or some ungodly number to the university for a vet program and global warming research. Even though he owned the Blazers and Seahawks before died he couldn’t find an extra couple thousands in his pockets for athletics.

Sure the odds are not in the Bruins favor, and they haven't been this March Madness since they were selected as an 11 seed first four team save the Rd of 32 game v ACU.

So hell ya, this fan will take the FF v Gonzaga.

Both teams are just 2 wins away from a NC. And with the Zags being the #1 overall the expectations are no where to be found anyway.

It's all house money and a chance to shock the world!

Beating the Zags would be nearly as close as winning it all.

But I wonder if there has ever been a Champion who has beat 3 No 1 and 1 No 2?

For the Bruins to win the Title, that's what it will likely take.

For now, 1 No 1 and 1 No 2 down and that's only been done 1 other time by a double digit seed. (LSU in '86)

I mean if they somehow won it this would be the most impressive title probably ever.

1st off it would be 7 wins.

2nd they would have 4 wins vs 1 and 2 seeds. Whether its 3,1s and a 2 or 2 of each we don't know yet.

Their first 3 games were pretty mehhh. But the last 4 would more than make up for it for a 7 game run.

One of those first 3 was v BYU, and the Bruins won by a very similar margin as the Zags did the last two times they played BYU in the last few months this year.

Weird. The game came down to the final plays in the last few minutes. Who could have predicted such a thing?

Went to bed at halftime, what a time for UM to have they’re worst performance of the season. Regardless, great season for UM. Atleast I don’t have to watch them get massacred on Saturday.
