March Madnes 2021 NCAA Tournament

I'm guessing a big conference would be happy to take their basketball team. They'd be good money.
Big conferences don’t take one program from a school. They don’t have a football program, they aren’t getting into a power conference. You can’t evenly distribute revenue. Football causes alignment changes, which is why UConn was left out when they great at basketball but terrible at football.

Lol Gonzaga never seen D like that all year tho huh. They got blasted.. but they were undefeated

Overrated undefeated team? How do you get that one? Zags opposite of everyone because of conference. All of their hard games are first in the year and then they BYU twice.

Get a real conference is a dumb thing to say, they can’t be in Pac 12 or Big 12. Doubtful they could even get into the MWC. Go independent?

The MWC wanted them in 2018 and they turned the MWC down. Gonzaga knows who they are and they have no interest in leaving the WCC

Happy to see the Big 12 bring home a basketball title. OU should get one in softball and gymnastics this year as well and has a chance at football.

That Baylor defense is great.

BE would be the one, but even that has so many hurdles I just don't know that it ever happens.

meh, WCC is typically a multi-big league. There options are limited, because

1.) no football program
2.) location

if they were to switch leagues, basketball-only school in the MWC would be the best fit. With that said, MWC really isn't an upgrade over WCC in hoops right now. St. Mary's and BYU are good programs.

Yeah, their conference isn't awful, just a mid. But, Zaga doesn't shy away from anyone in their non conference schedule and they've held up well against them.

@Tnerb57 made a cameo appearance on Sunday I think it was.

I bet Gonzaga wishes they had just lost in the 8 round, or the final 4.

Best conference in college b-ball last 2 years. 9 teams in. Certainly better than the Big West Mountain Mormon valley conference. U?

PAC-12. Definitely a better conference than the Big Ten.

Even though I'm lame af (yeah, yeah, I know that isn't exactly news) and spaced on getting my picks in for yesterday's game,

Thanks to @Vita and @Hu War Yu for the time and work they put into this pickem!!!

Vita did all the heavy lifting. It was fun but I did horribly. Didn't bother with my finals picks because I was so far behind.

They actually played USC and KU prior to this game, so that statement would be incorrect.

It's unfortunate for Gonzaga team and their fans IMO that they didn't take on a loss at some point in the regular season.

The expectations kept building and building. I mean they are good, but I never thought they were that much better than Baylor. Though I never thought Baylor would win like that.

The WVU game was pretty close, but it was ancient history, nobody remembers...

Their season will feel like a failure, but if they had taken on a loss totally different narrative, they beat some good teams to get to the championship. They never came into the season as the overwhelming favorite.

Huh? USC and KU play defense like that Baylor squad? Lol try again
