I have UTSA as a two score favorite over Texas, but A&M is still the best team in the state. Followed by Baylor, UTSA, Houston, UTEP, then TCU and Texas are about the same. So Texas is in the top 10 in the state of Texas -- they have that going for them.

"supposed to compete for the conference title" is a far cry from your hot take that the OL will be a sieve because of the freshmen. Why the sudden change from "that team sucks and has question marks" to claiming they were supposed to compete this year?
And yes, with most of the OL coming back and hopefully better QB next year...this team will be considered for winning division next year.

DL: Johson, Clemons, Peevy and Leal will be tough to replace.
but Turner is a stud, Diggs looks the part, and there are plenty of young help developing and on its way.
OL: Looking at losing only 2 in Green and Johnson. Zuhn and Ogunbiyi don't look like they will be huge drop offs. And Jalen will leave as well but a good looking TE Green coming in.
