choose to use post season rankings that rank much further than 25.
It’s just an arbitrary contest. You can change the rules FOR THE MUCH BETTER arbitrarily. So that they actually reflect the question being asked, not just some “gaming”‘stupidity

One could easily and fairly change the rules now. I guarantee everyone was picking “the team I think is more overrated” and not “the highest ranking team I think is going to fall out of the top 25”

so changing the rules ONLY better reflects both the intent of the contest AND the intent of the contestants.

Who the fuck runs around talking about teams 'rated/ranked' 56th anyway? You're either Top 25 rated/ranked or you're just another irrelevant nobody.

Keeping it within the framework of the Top 25 ratings/rankings makes it simpler for the one doing the math. At best you could use 'Also Receiving Votes' from either the AP or Coaches Polls. Even then that would only take you to about 35 or so.
