It’s kind of criminal that Mike Trout hasn’t been in the playoffs for so long really.

Well, they traded for him at a bargain price, and they were already a pretty damn good team before getting him. Now if Arenado completely shuts the bed outside of Colorado and Goldschmidt starts to decline, they might be in trouble.

The Cards and Yankees have been the most consistently good teams of my lifetime, even in their down years, they’re still competitive. Hard to pick against the Cards in the Central

I didn't say they won't be competitive. I'm saying that Arenado doesn't automatically give them the pennant.

I haven’t anyone predict a pennant for them, I think everyone that has made a prediction has had them losing in the NLDS. But they are the favorites for the Central, up to the other teams to prove everyone wrong
