2022/23 PAC-12 Power Rankings

Washington State wasn't ranked, but obviously they are still a good team.

I've mentioned this in other threads, but I don't think I'll understand Oregon for another 2 weeks. Part of that is we just never know what Bo Nix is going to show up. The one against BYU or UGA? And yes, the difference between those two teams in terms of defensive talent is massive, but Bo Nix was off/on weekly at Auburn too, and this just isn't a sport where you can excel at with a bad QB.

If Bo plays like a top 3 QB in the PAC, then Oregon might win the PAC. I'm just not sure he can do that consistently.

Im not sure what you’re going to learn about Oregon in the next two weeks unless they take an unexpected loss. Oregon’s schedule eases up a bit now

You handle us and Bruins without much sweat and I'd say that I could learn a great deal.

Fair enough. Bruins are a big unknown right now but I think they’re going to be very good on offense

We actually have a good offense, but our defense, in particular our run defense, is absolute shit.

Depth is an important aspect in football. The better programs have it and the others don’t.

Not sure why that factor is only being used to dismiss certain wins

Well, if Oregon is as good as Ducks fans like to think they are, depth shouldn't be an issue and therefore shouldn't be an excuse.

Either Oregon is a top program or it's not.

If it is, quit whining about what excuses are allowed.

If it isn't, then quit trying to claim they are.

Not sure why this is difficult to understand.

I liked De Laura at Wazzu and Zona has some good WRs for him. I'm sure Zona is going to score this year. JF has done a good job considering the situation he inherited.

Bowling Green lost to FCS Eastern Kentucky. They also have not won more than 4 games in a season since 2015. Fresno State is at least a respectable program who puts up a fight

Fresno's 2 losses are to Oregon St. by a field goal and to USC. They are a good bit better than Bowling Green.

A good amount of people don't seem to understand that all G5 program's aren't created equal.

trust me i know. but i also know that it was only 2019 when Fresno was a 4-8 team who got a new coach, flipped the program and left. So yes probably on avg Fresno has more good years than Bowling Green.
with their QB questionable Fresno might not be as good this year

Well then you should know that Fresno is quite a bit better than Bowling Green

like i said, typically yes but they are only a couple years from not being good. and their coach that got them up again left.

and then Fresno loses to UCONN. a team who has 4 wins over FCS programs in the last 5 years. a win over UMASS about the only team really worse than them and now Fresno State 19-14

Na, it takes a nice letter from the league office saying they cost you the game in order for Oregon to be where they are. It’s the same letter we got when your dude had a cheap helmet to helmet on Minshew were we would’ve won. Letters of our we cost you a game is the biggest slap in the face.

I am still waiting how the conference justifies the Oregon game that cost us at least 3 points on the first our bad and 3 points on the 2nd our bad.
