GAME 2022 FBS NCG: #3 TCU vs #1 Georgia • 7:30ET • ESPN

I will say that "yall took care of business". That would be a massive understatement. Has any team ever been held to under 200 yards in a CFP semifinal or championship game before this one?
I don’t know, and I’ve been up since 5 AM Pacific yesterday, so I’m not ready to dig too deep for stats right now

Biggest blowout victory in bowl history. Not national championship history, BOWL history.

And you can say what you will, but I think the 2021 UGA team was easily better than this year’s team, but this year’s team was far more impressive and faced a lot more adversity along the way. Losing 15 players to the draft, 13 to the portal while adding zero from the portal and going 15-0 and winning a natty is good work by the coaching staff. It’s hard to win one natty, it’s damn near impossible to win back to back natties and that’s what UGA did.

12 possessions for UGA in the game

9 touchdowns
1 field goal
1 punt
1 knees to end the game

Is that praise for Georgia's offense or an indictment of TCU's defense?
Probably both. Sitting in the stands, I thought UGA’s game plan on offense was dumb, but they sure proved me wrong. I thought an old fashioned ground and pound attack was the way against that defense. Shows what I know. Brock Bowers nearly outgained the entire TCU offense by himself

Yeah, I thought Monken’s plan/play calling was spot on. (Bennett throwing darts helped too. Some of those receivers were as well covered as TCU was capable of doing….not the ones where there wasn’t a white jersey in the picture) Used TCU’s run stop aggression against them and made them pay. Riley did just the opposite. Didn’t have anything planned or ran to even attempt to slow down the dawgs rush…or at least he didn’t use it on f it were planned.

That said, even if TCU had performed better it would have still been a 49-14 type beat down IMO. People forget TCU had to go to double overtime to beat 7-6 Ok State and beat a 7-6 Baylor team on a last second field goal.

@ELTEXAN FTR thats a fact, not my opinion
You don’t have opinions. You just parrot your boyfriends in the betting public. You were asked for your opinion many times… you declined… because you don’t have a mind.
