March Madnes 2022 NCAA Men’s Tournament

Of course not.

It's still the ACC and North Carolina is still North Carolina.

That said, you gotta give credit to teams for winning OOC. If the numbers say the Mountain West was better than the ACC, that's how you gotta mostly seed em

And numbers don't always tell the whole story. These NET values need to be reevaluated along with KenPom, Torvick, and the rest.

They do factor those in.

You can't seed in hindsight.

I will say that certain leagues even among Power 5 (or 6) teams have a higher ceiling, but you can't seed based on raw talent and potential.

I mean, let's be honest. Florida State is capable of winning 2, or 3 games, but you cant let em in, they sucked.

And the NET doesn't take into consideration injuries, disciplinary actions, sickness, etc. Neither do the others. Duke is just now getting back to where they were before Covid shut downs disrupted their schedule in January. I'm sure it affected other teams as well. Thus I say they should reevaluate how they set the mathematics.

So what's your beef? You wanted a #1 seed? :pound:

I think they should have allowed 14 B1G teams in the tournament.
christmas vacation GIF

I think they should have allowed 14 B1G teams in the tournament.

That would've made it easier for teams in other conferences to advance to the 2nd Round. Except for the Mountain West of course.

Also, what's this shit with putting all the good games on Thursday and all the shit games on Friday?

Agreed. The seeding has been a joke for a while

ACC now has six top 50 teams on kenpom. Still don't think the ACC was a great conference this year by any stretch of the imagination, but they are/were a lot better than given credit for this year.

West is the only region that has the top 4 seeds still around.

I like UNC's chances if they will play like they did in the first 35 minutes against Baylor. If they play like they did the last five..............

Yep. And others were not as good as given credit for.

I have 11 of the 16 in my totally blind, 100% guessing brackets. :hungry:

Thank God the most overrated team in the history of SEC basketball lost Sunday.

They played 3 teams with a pulse in the Non-Conference and went 2-1(Loss to UConn, Wins vs Loyola and Murray State)

Their In conference SOS was ranked 14th out of 14 according to KenPom. They only played each of the other top 4 teams Once each…..1-2.

Thier 2x games in conference were : Alabama(very good in the non-conference, very average in conference)

Ole Miss- AWFUL

Georgia- won 1 SEC game

Florida- NIT

South Carolina- VERY AVERAGE.

So they can thank Birmingham for their SEC Championship .

Got that Ass Bounced in the first round of the SEC tournament by an NIT team. And Got bounced the first weekend by a double digit seed Miami team that my beloved Crimson Tide beat by 32 points in the Non-Conference.

So In conclusion fuck Auburn and Fuck Bruce
