they were getting clowned by all of the top teams. lost by a combined 85 points to Miami, Wake and Duke. Also, got clowned by Kentucky.

I only caught some of Carolina's games prior to the tourney. But it seems they play "Matador Defense" quite a bit.

Kentucky did that to UNC on a neutral court and to Kansas in Kansas. Lost to Duke first game of the year.
