He can still come back!
One of the worst 5 star QBs I can remember
Worse than this guy?
And I'm not trying to be a dick because he signed with Georgia. I just thought it was funny in that class. We were recruiting Kyle Allen and Mason Rudolph in that order. When Allen committed to ATM Rudolph committed less than 24 hours later. We were jazzed at the time because we got a decent kid who the coaches wanted. But he was the clear no 2 in that state. Rudolph and Park ended up playing against each other and Rudolph just kicked the shit out of him. My fan base was half wondering how the hell Park was a 5* and half jizzinng because our QB of the future kicked the shit out of a 5*.
He was pretty bad, but was a 4 star IIRC
There is a strong chance Dye is returning to Oregon. Settle down folks

Seems to me like Knight isn't funding the 'dynasty' with NIL monies like you've said he would.
11 decommits from the 2022 class with two more pending has dropped Oregon to 64th.
I think he can do really well in Leach's system. Was buried on the depth chart at UGA.
I don't have an answer. Really, though only the high profile players are gonna have any kind of significant NIL money though, a 7th string WR that had under 5 catches on the season isn't gonna have blank checks waiting on him wherever he goes, especially not at Mississippi State.Which leads to a question.... What percentage of players are transferring for NIL money as compared to those transferring for a better chance at playing time?
No doubt both are a factor.
If I were buried on the Bama depth chart, I'd stay because the chance of getting a NC ring there are considerably higher than elsewhere regardless of playing time.
Does money outweigh the NC ring?
Transfer Portal the new roster management. Once again Saban proves he is a genius.Bama has like 10 guys in the portal and Drew Sanders is the only one who I want back. He is a Hell of a player who played really well until he hurt his hand and then got Wally Pipp’d by Dallas Turner who is a younger Will Anderson clone.

For J-Rob, he got his ring, now he wants to see the field and I can't fault him at all.
J-Rob was a low 4 star in the same recruiting class that saw UGA take in 3 high 4 star WRs, and then you had the emergence of Ladd McConkey, and especially Brock Bowers and he was just never gonna see the field. But he's the possession receiver that should thrive under Leach at a program that can't recruit at the same level as UGA.I doubt there is a way of getting an accurate answer to it.
It's not like these transfers are gonna admit they're just doing it for NIL monies.
I'm sure some are, but the vast majority are likely because they weren't getting significant playing time where they were.
That doesn't bode well for the recipient school since said player's talent level wasn't good enough to get significant playing time at their former school.
Basically they were originally overrated by the recruiting 'experts'.
Then we also have the issue of some coaches being able to get 4* talent out of 3* guys and some coaches only being able to get 2* talent out of 3* and 4* guys.
Here's looking at you, Frost, Herman, Helton, Mullen, etc..

The only reason Mahomes was a 3* was because none of the biggies were recruiting him. If they had, he'd have gone up immediately.Shit he was a 4* The only 5* QB'S that class were Kyle Allen. DeShawn Watson was the no. 2 QB in that class but he was a 4*. Also and the only reason I know this is because I got weird and went down the worm hole but the best player in the class was a middling 3* by the name of Patrick Mahomes.
From what I can tell the only QB's in that class in the league are the three I mentioned, Rudolph and Grier (both 4*) are the only ones left in the league.
It's an interesting class. You have two guys who are elite, one that was a legitimate starter but will probably spend the next 10 years making that backup money and a couple of guys who will be lucky to get a 2nd contract. Actually that's probably typical

A lot of guys have no stars until a big program like Bama, UGA, Ohio State etc offers them and then they get bumped to a 3 star. Josh Jacobs was that way for Bama. Ladd McConkey was that way for UGA. Pretty much, if you see Bama offer a no star recruit from out of state, you can bet on that kid being a beast that just slipped through the cracks of the recruiting services.Yup.
A guy's a 3* until he gets a Bama offer, then he gets his 4th* or even 5th*
