yeah, i was going to watch that in theaters...then the reviews came out.
 
Space Jam 2 was pretty bad.

And not in the it was bad but was still entertaining because of nostalgia sense either.

The first Suicide Squad was AWFUL. One of the worst DC movies, up there with BoP and Catwoman. This one wasn't that bad, it also starred Idris Elba and he is a good actor, plus it had significantly better writing.
 
Bruce Willis was in about a dozen movies last year?

Edit: I see he's already credited with eight in 2022 including the second and third Fortress movies... whatever those are.

I mean, I'd consider Will Smith pretty decent...but it didn't have that James Gunn humor to it.

Thought it was funny they hired actors to play his kids, but he got to play himself.

Should’ve got that guy that is playing Magic on Netflix.

Will Smith is very charismatic, but I was looking through his IMDB, he hasn't done too any good movie. I think Enemy of the State was probably my favorite movie with him.

And Will Smiths character could still come back. Him and Idris Elbas characters are different, but I thought pretty much everything about that first Suicide Squad movie was pretty terrible.

Like I said, it all comes down to James Gunn.

The first one was trying to be all action whole the second decided to go the comedy route. I think Smith could have done well in a Gunn movie just as Elbas did.

Yeah, not fan of Gunn as a person, but he is good a making entertaining movies/shows.

Welp, I am all caught up on this show now. Kinda upset because I didn't realize it was still being released one week at a time. I hate that services still do that nonsense. Just release the full season like Netflix does. I (personally) am more likely to stop watching due to forgetting about the show when it does stuff like that.

But in regards to Peacemaker, it has good production and music, but the acting is meh, it is somewhat funny, but I don't understand the point of Adebayo. It's like she is just there to check off each of the SWJ cliches with the lesbian relationship, septum piercing, partly dyed hair, trashing white males, etc... all the while, she doesn't really serve a purpose on the team. You have the leader (Murn), the computer guy (Economus), the action people (Peacemaker/Vigilante) and the do it all person (Horcourt) who even mentioned at one point t Adebayo saying 'what qualifications do you even have'. Don't get me wrong, Adebayos character has been central to the development and progression of the story, but it doesn't seem like it comes from the characters ability, just more happenstance. That is a writing issue in my opinion.

All in all, it is an entertaining movie. Vigilante, imo, is the best character though. He is outshining Peacemaker in a lot of scenes. Idk why, but I have to watch the opening title sequence every time. Cenas dancing is so weird.
