4* #52 overall #5 QB Devin Brown commits to Ohio State

Kid is a magician in the pocket too. Stroud, Ewers and Brown. Stroud 2 more years. Someone is going to get left out

stroud will declare after next season.. Depending on Ewers, he could leave if he has one good season (he's not trying to stay in CFB) and it sets up for Brown to start as a RS Sophomore

I could see Stroud leaving next season. I mean it depends on how they develop and produce but honestly looking at Ewers tape and now Brown's tape...more impressed with Brown's. He doesn't look like a 4 star

If stroud was eligible now, he would be declaring for the draft.. easily the best QB prospect in this years weak class. He'll be the best one next season too.

But yeah I like Brown, what a find by Helton

Brown was an important get because after Stroud declares after next year, the loser of McCord/Ewers likely transfers.

If we didn't get a good QB in this class that would make things shaky after that. Will be nice to have another high level guy who has a year on campus at this point.

Of course Brown could always win that QB battle after Stroud too. He looks like if he develops he might be good enough to at least push the other 2. Who knows what things will really look like then.

Good gawd! I just noticed that Duncanville has SIX of the top 100 kids in Texas. One 5*, one 4* and four 3*s.

They play DeSoto tomorrow in the Mini Jerry World and then the winner of the Southlake Carroll vs Allen game in the semis if they win. Hell, if a college team landed the recruits from those four schools they'd have a pretty highly ranked class!

Atascacita ain't no slouch. Then they probably have Lake Travis waiting.

All of the teams in Division I are probably glad they ain't in Division II. That potential semifinal between Westlake vs Katy next week may well decide the best team in the state.

Ohio State Quarterback Quinn Ewers Entering Transfer Portal

Ewers already going to transfer portal? Wow that doesn’t much about the kid tbh. Stroud had a great year and then they just got Brown. He didn’t think he could win the battle I guess. Not that it matters…Brown’s film was more impressive imo

well Northshore is beating them by 21 right now.. My new area school, Dickinson Gators had a 21 pt lead last week vs Atascocita only to choke it away and lose 22-21 :(

Once Mario takes off to Miami.. I know Banks and Williams will go elsewhere for sure. Hope UT can get one if not both to flip to Austin.
