Went to the Deacs/Coastal Carolina game last night. Deacs mercy ruled them

11-1
 
After as bad as they started, somehow clemson still has a legitimate shot to host a regional. Doubt it happens, but after sweeping NC St on the road last weekend, Clemson is now at like 22 in the RPI. With big series against BC, VT, Louisville, and UNC (all top 50 rpi teams) to end season.

Again, doubt it happens because pitching is just not good enough. Quite a turnaround for Bakitch after the way it all started tho.

Another good weekend for Clemson taking 2 against BC who’s in the top 15 RPI. Clemson now up to 12 in RPI. Legit chance to host now if they can hold serve the next few weeks.

A lot can happen in the next few weeks, but if you would have told me 3 weeks ago clemson would be in the tournament, much less hosting, I would have said you were crazy.
