2023 Recruiting Thread

I think we may be swooping back in for Jadyn Davis for 2024.

He seemed like he was headed to Michigan but decided to delay announcing before the new year and push it into next year.

I'm pretty impressed with Kienholz, think he'd be rated higher if he wasnt from fucking South Dakota.

Obviously HS competition could be a concern and it might take a bit more time for him to adjust to playing against D1 talent. But all the tools are clearly there. Doesn't have the world's strongest arm but it's good enough and but he's super accurate and has some great athletic ability. Kid just seems like a hard nosed gamer too.
Been plenty of good QBs from schools that don't play against elite teams that have been good in HS and also been good in college. Would rather look at his abilities and what you can mold. He's also gonna sit for at least 2 years to learn the system most likely.

Now that would be something. I wish he'd just put it off til later in the year.

Michigan fans were having a party over us losing Raiola until they realized our #2 option behind Raiola had always been Davis, who is Michigan's only viable top QB target for 2024. They REALLY need a big QB for 24 after scrapping up low 3*s in 22 and 23.

Would you wanna go there as a QB? McCarthy is the best QB they've had in the Harbaugh era and that started in 2015. JJ was a high-5* and his numbers this year were just alright. I'd rather go to a program that's putting out 1st rounders every cycle.

I agree. But you'd think they'd at least be able to get the next level down from the elite QBs, the middle range type 4* guys. They've totally bombed at QB in these last 2 classes. Taking guys who are pretty much Indiana type level QB recruits.

Their recent portal guy is an Indiana type (but couldn't start)

Sounds like Oregon is going to replace Moore with Novosad. That’s a pretty good replacement this late in the game

Was just confirmed. Ducks could be in for a big day.

I'm just happy that Lane Kiffin is having a sad. :pound:

Cormani claimed he was "IN LOVE" with everything Miami had to offer. Lol.

Not updated yet but he committed to OSU. Huge get.

Bowen to Oregon. Ouch. Looks like a 24 man class for ND, lost our 2 biggest commitments though.

Yea big get after missing on Wilson. Our DL class ended up pretty solid despite the misses.
I'm extremely happy . Adding Mickens, Jason Moore, Will Smith and Kayden McDonald to our already very strong depth is yet another feather in LJ's hat.

Uck we lost Kaiyn Lee to Auburn though. At least it was him though and not Hunt or Matthews, those woulda been more hurting

Gonna have to get a DB or 2 in the portal just for depth purposes.
