2024 / 2025 Champions League

Livermore is not winning the UCL. An absolute heist. PSG 27 shots Liverpool 2. Possession at onep point 77% for PSG. Passes 600+ to around 140. That might have been one of the best all time goaltending performances by Allisson though. lol. But you got to love it. Anytime a team that is owned by a country loses in a big game it is all good.

It was a wild. I skimmed through it last night.

Neuer torn calf muscle celebrating. 38 years old is 38 years old. Anyways Jonas Urbig now the man. Will be starting a lot next year as part of Neuers new deal. Lucky Bayern get Bochum this weekend at home. The second Leverkusen game Urbig needs to keep it 2 goals or less. Could have used those two extra goals Sane and Paulinho shanked now though.

Got my pastrami on Russian rye ready, one cold brew.

Tick tock tick tock...

Sweet. Not even close.

Several solid saves from Urbig when he had to.

Who is next? Inter?

Urbig was good today. I like how he moves the ball quickly.

That was a defensive masterclass. Kim and Upa superb.

Davies is a must be on the field player now. Kane came up big in two legs.

Inter next.

Liverpool. Hmmm. Been shaky lately and now out. PSG better without all the stars. Have we seen the last of Darwin Nunez after this season?

I thought Davies looked really good up on the wing after Ito came in. His speed is deadly.

And Musiala was just fucking snake bit.

Dortmund through. Nice to see a Canuck score for Lille.

Athletico and Real in extra time.

They say an Athletico player kicked the ball twice as he slipped in the shoot out. That’s not how I saw it. He didn’t move the ball with his slip foot.

That shootout was absoluletly criminal. Classic Real Madrid conspiracy theories. I turned it off right after. I heard Simeone went bonkers. It was very weird. Someone called down to ref in like 12 second and disallowed and never went to monitor.

You recognize that ref? I do. Bayern down 2-1 in injury time and De Ligt scored on final play. But this same guy blew whistle too early thinking offside. No offside and never blow whistle early like that. Bayern out and Real go to final and win. I know he was supposed to ref first Germany Euro Champion game and got pulled. This could be problematic next few days. Explanation really needed here. No one I know saw the double kick.

Watching on my big 85 inch UHD TV, that ball never moved on any angle until his right foot hit it..

Yup it never moved. One of the weirdest calls ever. How can you determine double kick in 12 seconds? Messi has done the same and more obvious when he slipped, but no call like that.

BVB showing up for UCL only, like usual.

I saw a frame by frame video of the kick that was disallowed. I still say he never touched it before he kicked it. But watching that one it looks like he may have kicked it off his left foot. Meaning he kicked it with the right foot, but his left foot grazed it at that point. Maybe. To me shit like that should be clear cut not fucking nebulous.

Guarantee if it was the other way and a Real Madrid player did it, it would have been allowed, or they'd have gotten a rekick

Even Alvarez thought he might have touched it twice. You can see he brought it up with his team mates right after the kick.
