Vogt got absolutely pantsed managing too.

Got suckered into taking Manzardo out after 1 AB and pulled Brennan before he even took a swing, the guys he replaced them with went 0-7 and stranded 7 runners

Bum sauce.
 
Also using 2 PH in the fucking first 2 innings is EXACTLY how you end up with one of the worst hitters in baseball (Austin Hedges) being your final out.
 
Cleveland has not won a playoff game where they were facing elimination since game 6 of the fucking 1997 world series.

What's the record for most consecutive scoreless innings by a offense in the playoffs? we gotta be close.

It was starting to turn to complete dogshit before the ASB

It was never actually very good, this is a team that just got luckily hot in April & May and then mediocrely survived the rest of the season. This team was 54-50 June 1-End of the regular season.

This is what happens when all you ever draft when it comes to offense is a bunch of small bodied defensive minded IF and OF. Then you try to rely on international signing guys like Noel who you hope can hit a HR every once in awhile but's gonna strike out a ton and never get on base otherwise.

Jose Ramirez always being pretty bad in the playoffs doesn't really help either, guys been completely MIA. When all you have is a couple of guys who can hit you are gonna exit fast if those guys aren't hitting.

4 good hitters (5 if you want to count Noel's sub-200 plate appearances), rest suck. at least Gimenez is a good defender. Kwan's numbers are inflated by his April and June, he's OPSing under .650 since the beginning of July

Gimenez is fucking infuriating, for some reason too they always try to bunt with him even though he's proven over and over again that he's VERY bad at bunting.

Kwan has been terrible since the beginning of July, David Fry has been awful since the AS break too.
 
I hope Vogt figures out a way to get Austin Hedges to be the last out again. Always a great thing when you are getting maybe the worst hitter in baseball important at bats in the playoffs!
