2024 College Football TV Ratings

7 mil for a conference network is pretty crazy
Even more so when Vandy is one of the teams. Most Vandy fans don't even know there is a SECN, or where it is on their dial!

If #1's about to go down, even CBSSN, CW, etc. would have gotten 7 million.
I think the point is they would have gotten way more than 7 million. Games on the SECN and BTN draw lower numbers than over the air, or ESPN/FoxSports.

I think that depends on who the teams are and who they are up against on the networks. I think a Michigan or Ohio State game even against a lesser B1G opponent would have a larger viewership than a game between Texas Tech and K-State. Same for a Bama vs a lesser SEC opponent.

Yeah had that been on regular TV, my joke about it getting over 10 million probably would have been true.

I didn't watch a single second of the first half of that game and wasn't paying attention. When it came across they were losing at halftime I immediately flipped and watched the rest

There is the hate attraction there ... let's watch Bama get beat by lowly Vandy.

Averaging 7 million and peaking at 7 million are two different things. You stick this game on ESPN or even ABC for that matter, I doubt it's getting 7 million on average.

Agreed, that was badly stated. They certainly would have gotten more than the 3.3 million they averaged. That's the minor point that I was making.

10.2 million for Oregon/Ohio State. Huge number given LSU/Ole Miss and Tennessee/UF were on at the same time. Georgia/Bama with 12 million only had PSU/Illinois and Clemson/Stanford to go up against.

BUT....

"tejas vs Texas A&M gonna get 20-25 million." :dhd:

lol that game is gonna set off some NUMBERS..

gonna hurt some feelings in here
especially if both teams can keep winning. LSU winning this weekend was a big help. If they can keep from sucking bawls against Arkansas then we would be able to add another top 10 win to the resume and potentially roll into that game as a matchup of two top 10 teams.

The tickets are now over $1k for a single standing room only. Once November 1 hits and the advertising starts up and if A&M can not shit the bed like we have been known to do...20m is easy.

Meh.

Missouri was way overrated.

"Top 10 win" :dhd:

Your loss is by double digits to a team that lost to Northern Illinois.

A&M will lose 2 of the next 5 'minimum' before facing tejas.

Mississippi St (1-5) that lost to Toledo 41-17 will obviously be a YUGE win for A&M. (if you win)

It's SEC. It just means more.
