"Come after you" - here are my three responses to you - that's it, nothing else:

ND has a huge fanbase, and UGA had the most viewers this season. I don't see any reason that tOSU v. Oregon will draw better. Oregon actually had rather poor viewership unless they were playing a top B1G team.

We’ll see.

Do you really care? So yes, I’m going to go with the CFP and UGA and ND brands to beat the CFP with Ore and tOSU. If I am wrong I won’t give one shit.

Okay, fair enough. Maybe I overstated the tone in your response. Still don't get interjecting yourself into something you don't care about, but...we'll see what happens.

I get where you guys are coming from, and you will probably be right. I think that UGA, with the numbers they have generated this year, along with Notre Dame's brand, is going to be huge. The Rose Bowl is the Granddaddy of them all and does excellent numbers. But Oregon has not drawn as well this year, while tOSU has. However, the SEC has also had far better numbers than the B1G. Even in your initial post, you had 20 million v. 17 million, so it will be relatively close regardless.

When I say I don't care, obviously, I care about CFB, or I wouldn't be here. I don't care enough whether the Rose Bowl has more viewers than the Sugar this year to care if I am right or wrong. You made a good case, I think I have valide reasons to think otherwise. As I said, we'll see come game day. Would be glad to discuss after.

I don't think it would come as a huge shock if ND/UGA beat out the rose bowl, it's still going to be tough nor do I think anyone expects it.

Haven't read every post between you and Eric on this and maybe one of you mentioned it but the kick time for the sugar bowl is slated for 8:45. That's pretty late and considering espn has all these playoff games now they are more than likely not starting the sugar until the rose bowl is over. If the Rose goes late or God forbid even OT that's going to be closer to a 9pm kick if not after.

Considering more people will likely have to work the next day (compared to the day after Xmas) that's going to hurt numbers imo.

I made about 6 posts about the Sugar v. Rose, and correct, I don't care enough to make a stupid avy bet. You and others have gone on and on for about 7 pages. I made 6 very simple posts. Someone here cares, and it isn't me.
