It sure seems like it. Though if it goes to extra time, England have the better bench to choose from.I guess we're just playing for PKs now

Cuz you bring on Watkins!!Why take Harry Kane off? I’d think you would want him for PKs
Southgate really got it right today except he needs to start Cole Palmer. Palmer made the beautiful pass to Watkins,Cuz you bring on Watkins!!
Eeeeeeenngeerland!!
Harry Kane may not need Bayern now for a trophy. Too be honest, Ollie Watkins or Ivan Toney might be a better option in the final. If I am Bayern, might want to look for a striker too. This season in Bayern may be his last productive season. I expect the beginning of a regression although a midfield of Jamal Musiala, Joao Palhinha, and Alexander Pavlovic will do wonders for Kane as far as service goes this season. Its coming home?

True but Foden on something like on a 14 game goal less streak. He was the best player yesterday for sure. First time in tournament he showed something. When all the good stuff happened late for England in this tournament, Palmer had come on the pitch. Of course, he butchered two great opportunities during the tournament, but overall England has flowed better with him. Problem for England is you have Foden, Saka, Palmer. Only two can start. I agree about the left side. That is the weak spot for England.Phil Foden was unlucky to not score a hat trick in the first half. He was by far England's most dangerous player out there.
I think Southgate got things right yesterday except I think I'd want to see someone on the left that offers a little more than Trippier or Luke Shaw. Maybe that player just isn't in the squad for England.

I am not sure Kane recovered from back injury versus Real Madrid completely. Also, stumbled against Switzerland late and was grabbing ankle in that game.Good for rotation to have all those guys. And even though I'm a Harry Kane die hard, i was happy to see him subbed off. He wasn't providing anything and it's pretty obvious he's struggling with an injury. Lo and behold, Watkins come on for him and scores the winner. You still gotta start Kane, but not against subbing him off after 60-70 min each game.
I would like to maybe see Eze on the left instead of Shaw or Trippier, but maybe that leaves their defense too exposed. He certainly would provide them with more athleticism there anyhow.
