Rodgers is the unofficial GM and HC of the Jets. This was most likely Rodgers' desire and Woody Johnson stamped his approval.

Methinks Rodgers wants Davante and Saleh was standing in his way of getting him.

Johnson has never fired a coach in mid-season before.

Unless they think there's a chance Belichik would come there (ha), this is just waiving the white flag harder. I mean, they're in a terrible division, they are playing Buffalo for the lead next Monday.

Not a huge fan of Saleh’s performance, but he was also set up to fail.
Same.

However, now I want Saleh to be very successful in his next gig - because I believe he's a victim of Rodgers' ego and deserves grand redemption.

I think he's done the best job he could given the rosters they have provided. Maybe he'll bounce back elsewhere but the taint of the Jets is gonna follow him everywhere

#2 defense in football, one of the top offensive lines, an elite young RB/WR duo with other weapons and a top 15 QB in yards/TDs? Holy shit, someone set the Browns up to fail like this.

The right answer is for him to come back home and fix the 49ers defense.

Maybe can return to the 49ers as a defensive coordinator again. Did a great job while there.

I thought that Hackett would be gone first, he's really the biggest problem there. I guess Rodgers wuvs him too much though.

A-a-ron saw how many NBA coaches LeBron has gotten fired and said "I still got work to do."

The only thing Hackett does is let Rodgers do whatever he wants. That's why Rodgers wuvs him so much.

They are both living in the past and have been for a long time, Rodgers's ability just covered it up for a while.

Yeah I figured we would see someone get canned over the Belichick dream, but the Jets have to be the bottom of his list.
