I'll buy what you are selling, although, the NL Central is a full random crap shoot. Any order except Pirates winning would be acceptable.

Yeah, that's about what I'm predicting.
AL East should go down to the wire again between the O's and Rays.

Red Sox

Volatile division. I could see a scenario where any of those 1-4 teams win the division and I could see enough going right for the Sox to make the playoffs, though losing Giolito is a huge blow for the pitching staff. I don't think the O's will win 100+ again, but they're returning one of the deepest groups of position players and they've still got a loaded farm system. Losing Bradish hurts, but I still think their rotation will be decent enough and I wouldn't be shocked at all if they pick up an arm or two during the deadline.

AL Central:
Twins
Guardians
Royals
Tigers
White Sox

AL West:

NL East:

Too bad the Mets are down Senga and didn't do much else to improve the rotation, because I actually really like their lineup.

NL Central:
Cardinals
Cubs (WC3)
Brewers
Reds
Pirates

This feels like the most volatile division. None of the teams look particularly good or bad, and projections seem to reflect that. FanGraphs Depth Charts have a 6 game gap between the first and last place teams (STL and PIT). I do think the Cards pitching will be much better than last year, and they should have a good offense. Cubs might have the highest floor in the division though. Reds being down Marte (suspension) and McLain (shoulder) is a bummer.

The disrespect of the Padres on here is ridiculous.

I think they were better than their record last year, but they lost two of their most productive players (Soto and Snell, who was their only pitcher to throw 150+ innings). They did at least trade for Cease, but they're relying on a 37-year-old Darvish who had a sub-100 ERA+ in two of his last three seasons and while Musgrove has been one of the better pitchers in the league the last three seasons, he did miss half of 2023. We'll see how King does as a full time starter, he did look really good in his brief stint as a starter in '23

They still look to have one of the better position player groups even minus Soto, Machado/Tatis/Kim/Bogaerts is still a very nice group of players and I wouldn't be shocked if Campusano was one of the better catchers this season.

I don't think they should be written off at all, but I do think they have some legitimate question marks and they're in a pretty tough division. FanGraphs DC projections have them at 83-79, which seems right. I could see 90+ wins and a playoff spot, and I could just as easily see 75-87 and them missing the playoffs... again
