2024 Season Thread

And once again we were robbed of a great full season championship battle with a manufactured and lame artificial game 7.
 
But I called Logano winning the Mickey Mouse title as soon as he locked up a spot in the final 4. The Mickey Mouse format seems to really benefit Penske with the new cars

He also tries to be too strategic and analytic at times IMO. It hurt him a couple times this year
 
So Nascar has somewhat caved and will let 23XI and Front Row race as open teams next season and still be able to sue them over the charters.

I'd imagine we will have a Riley Herbst to 23XI and possibly Chandler Smith to Front Row announcements very soon.

Which seems odd because felt like as I watched all season the Fords weren't doing that well week in and week out.

The Fords absolutely sucked ass for the 2 months of the season. Once Keselowski won at Darlington, the Ford's dominated.
Chevy had 7 wins and Toyota had 5 wins before the BK win.
After that, Ford had 12 wins, Chevy had 8 wins and Toyota picked up 5 wins.
 
In probably the worst kept secret in a decade, Preece somehow got a Cup ride at RFK. Kroger is moving to RFK and will sponsor all 3 Cup cars over the season at some point.

I keep seeing people say the number should have been 67 and I don't get it. If they're adding, the number should be 68. And I think Jordan wore 35 when he played minor league baseball (45 and 35) so that makes sense for another Jordan car.
