2024 Super Regionals

Only team that could beat Nebraska at the end of the year was the hottest team in the nation. We were running through powerhouses like Indiana and Penn St up to that point.

5 hours and a double puts my Gators in Omaha.... I'll take it.
 
UGA-NC State gets all the eyes today. And people that refer to their favorite team as “my <insert team name>” are the most insufferable kind of sports fan
 
NC state has the chance to make it an even ACC - SEC split in Omaha.
 
Why do conferences other than the SEC and ACC even bother playing baseball? And even then, why do ACC teams north of the Mason-Dixon even bother?
 
A&M had a lucky season when it comes to injuries, but they are all catching up now. Sheesh.
 
If UGA’s last game is tonight, this season has been a huge success. Coming into the season, I would have been happy just making a regional considering where the program was last season and this being a first year head coach.

Wes “Swinging” Johnson has turned the program around, and the recruiting for baseball is better than it has been in years. There’s no shortage of baseball talent in Georgia, so there was no excuse for the program to be as bad as it was prior to this season.

For the first time in a long time, I’m excited about the future of UGA baseball

Too bad you don't have another year of Condon to build on. No doubt there is other talent on the team, but he would be a massive draw for the top arms in the transfer portal who are looking to win a CWS. That's what Schloss needs to target, need pitching bad but have Jace, Graham, and Caden to sell them on. I'm hopeful Prager will return since he missed all of last season, but a 3rd round contract will be money that's hard to pass up given his injury history.

Losing Condon and Corey Collins at the top of the order is gonna be tough to replace for sure. I’m expecting the pitching to be better next season while the offense takes a step back

Well your insufferable team can suck NC State balls.. because MY Gators are headed to Omaha! They're MY Gators because I went to school there.
 
Omaha is set.
4 ACC- FSU, UNC, NC State, UVa
4 SEC- Tennessee, UK, aTm, Florida

You couldn’t name one player on the team before the regionals started
 
Hell of a season for UGA. Made it a lot farther than I expected. I’ll be pulling for NC State in Omaha
