Me either, but they paid a MASSIVE price for him. And I think he is free after this season. A straight up rental that they paid 3 of their top 20 prospects for, and some are saying that after a mid-season rereank it would have been 3 of their top 5 prospects.

I assume the Rangers will try to trade 1 or 2 players off our 40 to make room for DeGrom and Mahle who should be off the IL60 in the next couple of weeks. Better than DFA'ing anyone. Knizner is certainly going to be DFA'd, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us try to move Foscue or Duran because they both could be of value and we don't need them when Jung is back. Already a logjam with Josh Smith able to play UIF and with a smoking hot bat.

Someone needs to make a MAJOR move any minute now and force other teams to try to keep up. I'm talking about a Skubal or Vlad Jr type move. If the Yankees or redsox make that move, the arms race will be insane through the deadline.
