Yeah any other fanbase and team would have immediately been banned for life from all MLB stadiums. But a Yankee season ticket holder just has to miss the game, get a refund, and then call into ESPN complaining that they can't go to the game :L

I don't know about massive, but a lot of folks considered them underdogs in at least NLDS and NLCS because of their injuries to the pitching staff. Plus, at the time of the NLDS, everyone was saying that the Padres were the best team in baseball and the Mets were the hottest team in baseball heading into the NLCS.
 
What's scary is the Dodgers can go FA shopping since Ohtani deferred his salary.
